Built in the 19^th century and originally a hunting lodge for Lord Lonsdale, Holbeck Ghyll is a magnificent and striking Victorian property in an elevated position overlooking Lake Windermere and the surrounding countryside. Despite the rural location, Holbeck Ghyll is well placed for easy access to the nearby town of Ambleside and as a base from which to explore all the Lake District National Park has to offer.
