Greenbank Hotel Overview
Location: Falmouth, Cornwall, England
The Greenback Hotel is an outstanding four-star boutique hotel in a prime coastal position overlooking Falmouth harbour and the Penryn estuary.
Dating back to 1640, this historic building began life as a sailor’s inn and has connections to both Florence Nightingale and Kenneth Grahame, author of Wind in the Willows. The current owners took over the hotel in 1999 and have renovated and improved the Greenbank with a contemporary touch yet still retaining its traditional charm and historic features.
The guest bedrooms are stylish with a fresh modern feel and all feature Living Sea Therapy toiletries, flat screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Greenbank has three dining options, the Water’s Edge Restaurant, the Water’s Edge Bar and the more laid back Working Boat Pub.
Falmouth is located on the south Cornish coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty with a huge choice of things to do and see. The South West Coast path is popular with walkers and the area has outstanding beaches and the opportunity to get on the water and take a coastal tour by boat.
