Santa Caterina Overview
The Hotel Santa Caterina of Amalfi is a special place to experience the finest Italian hospitality. This late 19th century villa, set in the beautiful scenery of the Amalfi Coast, is an elegant seaside residence surrounded by luscious bougainvillea, olive groves and fruit orchards.
The rooms are spacious and decorated in a classic Italian style, the rooms echoes the typical style of the villas of Almafi. Rooms abound in space and are filled with light from the large windows. Some rooms boast decorative tile floors which are antique work's of art and hand painted. Guest rooms boast timeless marble bathrooms and all rooms feature balconies with views over the Almafi coast or the green gardens.
The hotel has two restaurants:
- Restaurant Santa Caterina - An award-winning eatery, listed in many prestigous restaurant guides, offering Med cuisine in a beautiful dining room.
- Restaurant Al Mare - Sat on a perched terrace above the private beach, this restaurant serves grilled fish and gourmet pizzas with the backdrop of the Amalfi Coast. Especially romantic during dinner with candle glows and the evening warmth.
The Santa Caterina also has a panoramic bar called the Bar La Terrazza, which is ideal for congregating with friends over an aperitif or a pick-me-up snack or drink before heading down to the beach. The hotel's wine cellar is a wine-lovers haven, with a collection of popular, famous and rare Italian and international wines all in one place!
The hotel has a fantastic swimming pool at the beach club, which is positioned right by the sea, an exclusive pool only to be used by hotel guests (April- October). For exceeded indulgement and relaxation, head to the hotel's wellness centre for beauty treatments, massages and body treatments.
