Hotel Due Torri Overview
Hotel Due Torri is one of Verona’s best known hotels, it is housed in a 14th century palace and situated in a lovingly preserved medieval palazzo close to many of Verona’s cultural gems. The notorious status comes from its high end service and stunning furnishings.
The hotel has an interesting history attached:
The family of Bordieri owned the palace building between the 14th and early 17th century, they acquired the palace to showcase their wealthy status as successful goldsmiths. In fact, it was this family who transformed it from a palace to an inn, thereafter the building had undergone transformations and different ownership. The hotel has accommodated the likes of Mozart and Goethe and a marble plaque displayed on the façade pays homage to the Austrian composer.
The interior is grand and impressive and the 91 guestrooms are furnished with original period furniture and parquet flooring. Spacious rooms are designed with marble and mosaic, plush textiles and pure linen bed sheets along with satin bed covers. Details are refined and rooms are fully fitted with modern amenities.
The Due Torri Hotel features a lounge and restaurant in the spacious lobby where guests can sample local specialties and international cuisine.
